Annual General Meeting
On Wednesday 15th March 2017 our AGM took place and an interim committee was put into place until we have members and residents from Westborough to form a committee.
We are looking for a 9 committed and active residents:

Westborough Community Association, Valentine Quiz Night was held on Saturday 11th February at the Royal British Legion.
David Webb, our resident quiz master planned and carried out rounds ranging from sport, human body, love music, famous married couples. All 9 teams enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to all the residents and teams who attended. The Staff at the legion was very helpful and supportive on the night. A huge thank you to Alan hart to loan of his mic and Steven who did the scoring and local busincess Costcutter who donated some of the prizes and other members.

2nd: Team 7: 91 points
3rd Team 5: 82 points
4th: Team 4: 79 points
5th: Team 2 and Team 3 77 points
6th:Team 8: 72 points
7th: Team 9 42 points
Overall we made £242.52 profit
In June we made £228, October £197 and this quiz a total of £667.52 profit.

Westborough Community Association
On Saturday 10th December WCA held it's first Christmas Bazaar at the Westcliff Free Church at the top of Ronald Park Avenue.
Huge thank you to Julie Farrow (WCA chairman), Debbie Robinson (Vice Chairman), Sally (Secretary), David Webb (Membership Secretary) for setting up the hall.
We had variety of stalls from other business from the area including WCA stalls of Tombola and the refreshment stall.

Saturday 16th July Westborough Community Association in conjunction with Friends of Westcliff Library held the Summer Garden Fete at Westcliff Library. It was lovely event and the weather was sunny. The Southend Mayor Councillor Judith MCMahon opened the fete.
The Westborough Community Association committee would like to thank all the business who provided prizes to the adult tombola and to support to those who set up the fete and ran stalls through out the event. We would also like to thank St Andrews Church for the loan of 4 tables. Finally thank those who attended the Fete and the library staff who supported us on the day.

We took £390.75 pence on the day and after expenses of £162 pounds we raised £228.
